Also known as Catappa leaves, they are native to Southeast Asia where Betta fish originate from also. When added to your aquarium, it mimics the water conditions from those regions,  and reduces stress by releasing tannins, creating a yellow/brown tint in the water. IAL helps to lower pH, decreases water hardness, helps fight to kill bacteria, has antifungal and antimicrobial properties. Proven to be beneficial in speeding up the healing process of damaged fins and scales.  Indian almond leaf encourages spawning for most species listed above.
