Our aim is a world where people and animals coexist in an ethical and sustainable ecosystem. We are a reputable Pet Retail Establishment bringing together a community that wants to build awareness and effective initiatives that promote better welfare for pets in aquariums, terrariums, and paludariums.
At Some-Fin Tropical we not only operate as a retail store, but also rescue and rehabilitate animals from suffering or being released into the wild. We work to protect our natural ecosystems and educating the public on the pressing issues.

We are located at 6 Main Street, Minto, NB across the road diagonally from Tim Hortons. Not only do we offer a fish store at this location, but also pet food and supplies from
Atlantic Pets Canada.

Shipping/Delivery: Arrive Alive 100% Guaranteed
On the rare occasion that fish are DOA in shipping or delivery, we require a photo/video of the deceased fish in the bag within 2 hours of arrival to receive a store credit equal in value to the lost fish, shipping costs excluded. Should you choose to have frozen items shipped via Maritime Bus with livestock, although we do our best to insulate and separate the frozen items from the livestock, DOA policy is voided.

In Store Purchases:
We guarantee livestock purchased in store for 24 hours. If you lose a fish within the time period, we require a video of the deceased fish including the setup of the home aquarium for a store credit.
We do not provide a credit for fish that have been injured, eaten, or jumped out of the home aquarium.

Dried Goods:
We have a 30 day exchange policy on all dried good items. Returned products must be unopened/unused. We will not exchange items that have been opened. Should there be a defect in any items, please return it to the store with all original packaging and proof of purchase (we provide e-mailed receipts).

FLAT RATE $30
When shipping your package, we ensure that your livestock is kept safe by double bagging, using a heat or cooling pack when required, and insulated with biodegradable packing peanuts or recycled packing materials. All packages arrive the same day they are sent out. We will contact you to notify which day your order will be shipped, and what time the bus arrives at the terminal. Remember to add the location of your closest terminal at the checkout.
*Please keep in mind that it is unethical to ship live animals in weather conditions predicted to be too hot or cold. Shipping dates may change when necessary.
Delivery fees: $5 FLAT RATE​

Our driver will call to give notice when your order will be delivered.​ Orders containing livestock WILL NOT be left on doorsteps if you aren't home at time of delivery. Please contact us to make different arrangements on day of delivery if needed.
