Semi-aggressive omnivorous dwarf Cichlid. Will accept flakes, pellets, freeze dried and frozen foods. Benefits from sand substrate in a heavily planted tank with wood, rocks and caves. Very social and will benefit from having other rams in their tank, best to keep 5 or more. Very sensitive to water conditions. Regular tank maintenance and water changes will help them live longest.
